That said, all it's really doing is backing up to the repository which you could point the job to directly if you wanted. That's correct - there is a limit which I don't recall what it is. Viruses are a very low probability threat to an individual machine due to our current security position. For that matter, most of my engineering/drafting workstations just backup to a local spinning disk, it's just a failure precaution. I just use a Synology NAS for high-value workstations, it's cheap and cheerful. There is licensing required to use the Agent to backup to B&R repositories, I think the cap is 20 endpoints and then you need to get licensing. Wanted to see if you are already using it and can share your experiences.įrom our Veeam B&R 9.5 update 3 console directly ? So we can run the end user PC backups directly from our existing console ? Games downloads - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City by Rockstar Games and many more programs are available for instant and free download.

We don't backup our end user Windows PCs, in case of any hardware failure or virus we just format and reload OS. Download gta vice city for windows 10 64 bit for free. We use Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 update 3 to backup our virtual servers(vmware). I backup my NVR's to a B&R repository and those jobs show on the console and I get standard notifications, but I don't care enough about workstations to do more than backup to a NAS. Other great apps like Veeam Agent are rsync (Free, Open Source), Macrium Reflect (.

Windows Backup to a NAS is a drag, but the Veeam product does versioning and SMTP notifications and bare metal recovery with a boot USB, has WindowsPE baked in, just really well done. The best alternative is Duplicati, which is both free and Open Source. I just use the Synology because I had one, but I don't find NAS's useful for much except backup anyway. I DEFINITELY use the Veeam agent, it's a fine product.
